FABRIC RESEARCH AND TREATMENT
NYLON METAL IN ECONYL® REGENERATED NYLON WITH PRIMALOFT®-TC AND KNIT: Hooded blouson with front and hood made in Nylon Metal, a material with a metallic and iridescent look when garment dyed. The evolution of this iconic STONE ISLAND fabric sees the use of ECONYL® regenerated yarns. The end-of-life nylon, pre- and post-consumer, is recycled with a complex depolymerization process to create this fiber that features the same intrinsic characteristics of nylon from fossil raw material. Padded with PrimaLoft®-TC, an exclusive blend of high-performance insulating fibers, 70% recycled, engineered with STONE ISLAND for garment dyeing. Dyed with a double-color recipe. The sleeves and back are made in full-rib, 7-gauge wool.
Padded hood, edged in stretch nylon tape. One valet-stand chest pocket, with hidden snap fastening under nylon tape. On-seam hand pockets, with hidden zipper closure. Stone Island badge on the left sleeve. The bottom is edged in stretch nylon tape. Nylon zipper closure that takes on the color of the dye bath.
